Oh hey midterms

It's the most horrible time of the year. Well, along with finals.

Actually I almost think they're worse, because you have to study, at the same time as learning things that could very well be on the test that you're going to be taking in a couple of days.

I had 4 midterms in 9 days, well technically I haven't done the last one yet. Which incidentally, I am so screwed for, I have no idea what is going on in the that class. Anyway, it drives students to mental breakdowns. It is nearly impossible to simultaneously study for 4 subject while also going to class, learning new material, and to sleep. One of them just doesn't happen. Usually it's the sleep.

Then, you take the midterm that you have been preparing for and studying so hard for, and if you're like me, you screw it up by not seeing the last question. I did not see it. How does a person miss an entire question. My guess is it has to do with the lack of sleep. But you don't have time to dwell on it because the very next day you have another midterm, also worth 20 or 30 or whatever percent of your mark.

And then you get sick, because you've been crammed in spaces with the hundreds of other kids studying, not eating particularly well, not sleeping very much. So add a runny nose and sore throat and you just have a big giant party on your hands. Makes studying and sleeping so much easier.

All I can say, is that I hate midterms. Universities should really devise some sort of system that doesn't end with sick students having mental breakdowns from it all.
